Emma Larsson lives and works in Stockholm and considers herself an autodidact artist. The artistry has been there since childhood, which characterised her life, in which color and shape has become signature. From actively working with mainly oil and acrylic, Emma has in recent years transitioned to experimental watercolours and ink where she developed a very unique expression in which the motives intersect the boundary between colourist watercolour sculptures and abstract figures. Emma also sculptures in stoneware where the characteristic figures are lifted from the paper to assume new living creatures. She is currently doing several collaborations with brands and the fashion industry, and earlier this year she was commissioned by Paris Fashion Week to interpret creations of, among others, Kenzo, Givenchy, Yamamoto and Dries van Noten.
