Minnet av pappa/ The memory of my father
On Easter Island in the 1700s there was a religious tradition: to make 40-ton heavy stone statues. These were transported on logs. When no trees were left to transport the statues, the ecology broke. Many people starved to death. I see Easter Island as a symbol of wrong decisions. My father, who lived in Chile in the 1970s, has been on Easter Island.
