Have you ever been to an exhibition and thought to yourself, “I could have done that myself”. Well, if you have received the Royal Prize for Painting, you certainly know your thing. We are talking about the Dutch artist Marjolein Rothman who is coming to Kungsträdgården for her second exhibition at Wetterling Gallery. In her portrait-like paintings Rothman often picture her portraits and paintings geometrically shaped in a spare, sober palette. Her mission: trying to explore how meaning is only truly accessible through the cultural frames of the future.
