Beckers konstnärsstipendium om 200 000 kronor – som i år utdelas för trettioandra året i följd – tilldelas 2019 Theresa Traore Dahlberg, född 1983. Traore Dahlberg har studerat på New School, New York, Stockholms dramatiska högskola och Kungl. Konsthögskolan i Stockholm. Traore Dahlberg undersöker i utställning på färgfabriken genom installation, skulptur och video delar av Burkina Fasos kulturhistoria, svensk industri och värdet av arbete och varor som sätts i relation till plats, tid och kontext.
