The exhibition Gaza Works is a survey of Kent Klich’s long-term commitment and work in Gaza. The series comprising the exhibition are Gaza Photo Album (2009), Killing Time (2011) and Black Friday (2014–2015), as well as a completely new work about Gaza International Airport.
The Hasselblad Foundation is producing a book to accompany the exhibition, with essays by Mette Sandbye, Judith Butler, Raji Sourani and a dialogue between Susan Meiselas and Kent Klich. The book will be published by Buchhandlung Walther König.
Kent Klich is born 1952 in Sweden, and lives in Denmark. He has studied Psychology at the University of Gothenburg and Photography at the International Center of Photography in New York. Between 1998 and 2002 he was a member of Magnum photo agency.
