Tyra Lundgren (1897-1979) was an artist as well as a prolific art critic and writer. This substantial display of her work encompass paintings, ceramics and textile works, her diaries and other archival materials. Lundberg travelled extensively and lived and works in Finland, France and Itay. She was a pioneer and this display of her work is a huge source of inspiration. Her works is represented in collection’s in Sweden and abroad, such as the National Museum, the Museum of Modern Art and the Norrköping Art Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and the Design Museum in Helsinki.
