THE LEGACY OF ANDY WARHOL

The American artist Andy Warhol (1928-1987) is well know far and beyond the art world. This exhibition aims to broaden our understanding of his legacy. On display are a number of sketches made by the artist in the 1950s and a video installation featuring the rock band The Velvet Underground. Another aspect of the exhibition is The Andy Warhol Shop which features a variety of products, all drawing from or interpreting the artist's work. All these products have been made for the commercial market with permission from The Andy Warhol Foundation for Visual Arts.
